THE CORNISH COAST

The coast of Cornwall in all its variety exerts a great fascination for me and leads me to explore colour effects as I proceed with the painting.

I have been playing around with pre-impressionist ideas from Corot and Constable's work and producing these acrylic on paper paintings hoping to capture the period, and experimenting with the influence of the sky colour on the whole painting. Challenging but great fun
